I visited a minister who was staying here and he said that they gave him a great rate for the week. Each room has a window air conditioner and it's definitely welcome on hot summers in Florida. The bed is very large and the bathroom is perfect for a single person or small couple. His particular room was hidden behind large palms and the courtyard is pleasantly arrayed with tables and chairs. The access to the courtyard is protected by a coded lock and each room uses a traditional key. Parking can be tricky but I could find options on the street in the afternoon. The beach is literally a short walk, maybe a block from the hotel. There's a park across the street with an amphitheater between the hotel and the beach. There's a cute coffee shop adjacent to the hotel and several great watering holes and restaurants within a brief walking distance as well. A brand new restaurant, Oaxaca Mexican Restaurant, is next door and looks very pleasant.
We had no problem checking in, it was all done through Air B&B. We never really had contact with anyone there. Rooms are older but well cared for. And the price and location are the deal.
